Confused about why so-called healthier food options like whole wheat bread, organic skim milk, or tofu aren’t really all that healthy? Overwhelmed by the process of changing your diet to include more traditional, nutrient-dense foods? Well, you’re not alone! There are lots of people just like you out there — people who are eager to take control of their diet, but are intimidated by a lack of knowledge. Thankfully, Kelly The Kitchen Kop created an online course to help all you Real Food Rookies out.
If you’re thinking of enrolling, enter this giveaway first. Not only will one of you lucky folks win a place in the online class, but everyone who enters will get a coupon code for 15% off the course (that’s an $18 savings)!
I remember what my own Real Food Journey was like — long, arduous, and full of mistakes. I honestly didn’t know where to begin. What was more important — organic milk or organic vegetables? Sourcing locally, organically, or humanely? Which foods should I eliminate from my diet altogether?
I’m so thankful Kelly’s put together this class to help people make that transition smooth & easy instead of bumpy and complicated.
What You’ll Win
Everyone who enters will get a coupon for 15% off the Real Food For Rookies E-Course, and ONE LUCKY WINNER will receive a completely free enrollment!

I would love to learn more about how to make healthier eating choices. I have been trying to eat healthy food for years; however, I know that I have a lot more to learn. I think that this course will help me in my quest to make wiser food choices.
i need to recorrect the little mistakes i am making in the kitchen when it comes to preparing the whole and rigiht foods. i certainly have a tendancy to cut the corners looking for an easier fix, when making the right complete food is the only option right now. and learning to cook real food and using enitre ingredients not just for one meal but for many is why i would like to take this course. i would like to learn how to properly prepare whole complete meals again! I am constantly approached by peers and clients on what works and what tastes great. This class will help with my utilities and resources for all!
I watched the video and read the page. I’d like to take the class because we have a child who is insanely sensitive to foods. She’s not allergic to them, but we have a list of foods that we know when she eats them, she’s going to be spacey the rest of the day. She’ll misbehave, completely zone out, not listen to things, be overly emotional, etc. We know a lot of this can be controlled with food, but knowing *how* and what else to try is a bit overwhelming.

I am really interested in learning more about food as a pain fighter. After only eight weeks of cutting out processed food, my chronic back pain seems to be gone. I want to learn more, and be rid of my husbands headaches as well!
I think the class would be great because we’re planning on having a baby soon and I need to realign nutritionally, as does my husband.
Additionally, I’d like to learn more about nutrition for when we have the baby so we can get him/her a strong start.

I just sent the email to five friends too!
I watched the video and sooo want to take the course. I totally want to learn her recipe for soft healthy bread!
I have never really liked to cook and that was not too hard to deal with until I decided to go paleo/primal and eat real food … no more grabbing a quick bite anywhere or slapping something on a piece of bread! So, now I HAVE to learn how to cook real food and I am lost.
I also subscribe to your feed via Google Reader.
I watched the video and really want to learn her secrets for homemade bread and shopping farmer’s markets. I really hope to win!
I also just signed up for your RSS feed, thanks for the giveaway!
I’ve subscribed to your email updates and RSS feed! Thanks! =)

I’ve also watched the video and read about the class and think that this class is an absolute **must** for me because I know all of the ingredient buzz words of what not to eat and am convinced about eating real food, but I just honestly don’t know where to start and feel so overwhelmed!
I want to take this class because I am nursing my twin girls and only recently started learning about Real Food. I want to make these changes NOW for my health and theirs! But I need to know where to start and how to fit it all in my already crazy life.
I already subscribe via email and would love to do this course. I am a naturopathic practitioner from Sydney, Australia, who has recently learnt that all the lentils, mung bean, low fat stuff I was taught at College actually contributes to making myself and my clients unhealthier. I am slowly educating myself on Nourishing Traditions and my clients have seen great results already. I am disappointed that I am not eligible for any of your giveaways until now with this course. Doing this course would really fast track my learning.
Because bread alludes me – and there is so much I need to learn!

I would love to take this course to learn more about teaching my children to eat well. My son has many allergies to foods like dairy, gluten and eggs. My oldest daughter has many food sensitivities as well. Since the birth of my son I have had so many health issues it is shocking. We didn’t start out on the right foot when it comes to eating real foods, but we are ready to change that and gain back our health!
emailed my friends!!
I am really interested in learning how to do all the things I read about on all the (healthy) blogs I read that seem overwhelming or impossible

I would like to take this class because I have sluggish digestion and frequently get constipated. I hope to learn how healthy fats and can help heal.
I am so overwhelmed with all the things I need to change to feed my family healthy food. This course would help me make the change without so much confusion and mistakes. Thank you for the chance to win.

My son has grown up with severe reactions to corn, soy and yeast. Try finding any canned item in the store without these! But I can’t grow all my own food.
My mother was hospitalized with C Dif from being over prescribed antibiotics.
My mother in law is having IBS symptoms that are really affecting her quality of life.
I am trying to learn how to incorporate real food into all of our diets, but feel like I am just stumbling on answers by trial and error.
I think this course could help me get some answers faster than my bumbling through method!
Signed up for your feed…….don’t have a blog. 🙁
Stumbled it!

I would like to take this class because it would be very beneficial to our family. We have struggled on SAD (standard American diet) for years along with most people who live in America. It would be nice to change that around!! We are a somewhat large family of 8 and learning about how to save money and time will be very beneficial!

I have been incorporating some of the NT into my life especially in the few months since I have discovered that I have a gluten sensitivity. However, sometimes it is a challenge to get the rest of my family on board. I would also love to learn to make kefir soda for my 14 yr old son. My 4 yr old hasn’t discovered soda yet (and we try to delay that as much as possible but it can be difficult).
I would love to take Kelly’s class. I have a family with various medical issues and am steadily working on making better choices for them. Hoping this will help me build my confidence to go further and smooth the transition for my family.

I have REALLY wanted to take Kelly’s class, but we are BROKE and our house won’t sell so I can’t justify the expense right now. Being able to take her course might take my mind off of the home-selling misery and prevent me from developing an auto-immune disease like everyone else in my family has. Help!
I subscribe and love reading your blog, thank you!

As a recovering vegetarian (5 years) and a college student in the final year of study, I really need to learn how to cook real food. For the sake of myself and my housemates, when we are crunching for deadlines and portfolios our diet is reduced to coffee and donuts, riding the suger/caffeine high 24/7.
My little sister is addicted to processed foods; she’s having instant noodles and processed bread and cheese for dinner every night, and my parents don’t have enough time to fix her eating habits.
Our family has a history of high blood pressure, and my mom is still buying into the margerine scam! My parents’ english is not that good, so I need simpler ways to explain nutrition to them and your e-course seems really well broken down and to the point while using laymen vocab.
thanks again for putting up the giveaway!

I am so passionate about learning to nourish myself and my family through the foods that we eat. I look around and see the problem that we as community and a country share with our really scary food system and hope that I can help contribute to changing this problem. I want to see the people around me that I love thrive and be free of disease and other ailment that I know our food is contributing to. I know that it is going to be a long path to making those changes but so worth it! I am so thankful for Kelly to be offering this course. What a wonderful gift! This online community of “renegade foodies” has been invaluable in my journey to healing and living a nourished life. Thank you for this giveway!!
I want to learn about how food relates to health issues such as insomnia and back pain, reflux, etc. Thank you for the giveaway.
I have been trying to eat healthier and healthier over the last 5 or so years, but it’s an ongoing journey for us. Sometimes I look at our diet now and think we’ve come so far, but then look to where I want to be and it seems like this insurmountable goal. I think the class would give some structure to my journey and help me break it down into more manageable goals, so I feel like I have somewhere to start and go that will be easier to handle.

I really want to take this class because I too want to eat healthy but don’t know how. I have made the switch to buy pesticide free/organic produce, and I want to eat grass-fed meats, but other than than I feel t a loss on how to navigate this new life style. I am hungry for tips, advice, and essentially a class like this!

Was looking for recipes for patty pan squash and ‘FOUND” your treasure trove of a website. Having homeschooled for 22 years with 5 more years to go this is exactly what I have been desiring to provide for my blessings (kids) – in one place- what they have been learning about food choices.
I have also submitted my email for updates.
Thank you for the time and hard work you have put into this website.
Nora
Your website and this class make so much sense to me. I have been trying to eat mainly organic and lots of raw/vegan/vegetarian, but always have felt like my diet was unnatural and lacking. It is all so confusing. I love the idea of this approach. Our societies evolved eating real foods. I would love to learn more and take the class.
Thank you so much for sending the link to this class in your email updates!
Melany
Would love to find more ways to start eating REAL FOOD, I follow via RSS and I did goto her site.thanks for opportunity
Followed the link to her site and watched the video. I read Nourishing Traditions a few years ago but became so overwhelmed and stressed trying to implement all of it into our family at once (some of that stress was from just having a baby :). I’ve started to practice what has been doable for me, but I could really use some ideas for cooking real food meals when I don’t have the time for a 3 hour roast meat in the oven. When I run out of time in my day is when my best laid plans crumble, and I start thinking that it wouldn’t be THAT bad to eat junk for just one night. But those nights keep adding up!
I so need this !!!!!!!!!!!! I follow you, and share all 6 ways ! See I’m trying to learn…lol !
