WINNER and COUPON: Primal Pit Paste Natural Deodorant

primal pit paste

Last week, I hosted a giveaway for a 4 pack of Primal Pit Paste natural deodorant. Most store-bought deodorants are full of toxic parabens (linked to breast cancer) and aluminum (linked to Alzheimer’s), so this giveaway excited me.

I always enjoy finding personal hygiene and beauty products that are so natural, they’re edible!

This week, I’m pleased to announce the winner. For those of you who didn’t win, I’ve even got a consolation prize — a coupon for 25% off all Primal Pit Paste natural deodorants.

The Winner

The winner of last week’s giveaway is Elisha Witt Singer.

Congratulations, Elisha. I’ve sent you an email add the address you provided, and you have 48 hours to contact me with your mailing address so you can get your prize.

How to Save 25% on Primal Pit Paste

I almost feel like everyone’s a winner today. That’s because my sponsor, Primal Pit Paste, is offering you guys a 25% off coupon good for all Primal Pit Paste natural deodorants.

Remember, they’ve got pastes (for those who want to be environmentally friendly and use glass packaging), sticks, sport strength, and kid strength deodorants. And you’ll get to pick which scent you prefer. All scents are created with essential oils rather than fragrances, including:

  • Lavendar
  • Lemongrass and Thyme (THIS IS MY FAVORITE!!!)
  • Unscented
  • Patchouli
  • Orange Creamsicle (kids option only)
  • Lemonade (kids option only)

These are organic, 100% natural deodorants like what you could make at home.

Ingredients include Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Raw Grade A Shea Butter, Non-Aluminum Baking Soda, Organic Arrowroot Powder, and essential oils. That’s it.

HURRY! This coupon expires September 29, 2013.

I was so excited to see the coupon offer, then to discover it was expired before I got home from vacay. Any chance there will be another chance to get one??? Please I really want to try it.

Agree with Dee, way too short of an offer, bit of a tease.

I’m surprised you do not have a recipe for home made deoderant. It is very easy and it WORKS!

1/4 c organic corn starch or arrowroot
    1/4 c baking soda
    6-8TBS coconut oil
20 drops essential oil of choice or to “taste”

I like tea tree, but lavender or others would work too.

Mix all ingrients with a fork in a bowl until well combined. Warm it up enough to blend well, but not enough to melt the oil. I find in the summer during hot weather I need to use the larger amount of coconut oil, and in the cold winter, less.

This makes enought to fill 3 empty commercial deoderant dispensers, or you could just apply it with your fingers (as my daughter prefers) and store in a covered jar.

My sisters and I all have been using Lavilin for a while now and we are HOOKED! Lasts up to 4 days for each of us. I also use the foot deodorant since I’m a runner :)
