Fight Back Friday June 11th

Welcome back to yet another Fight Back Friday! Today we are bringing together another collection of recipes, tips, anecdotes, and testimonies from members of the Real Food Revolution.

Who are they? Why, they’re the Food Renegades. You know who you are — lovers of SOLE (Sustainable, Organic, Local, and Ethical) food, traditional food, primal food, REAL food, the list goes on. I believe that by joining together, our influence can grow, and we can change the way America (and the industrialized world) eats!

So, let’s have some fun.

    I am sharing a post that includes a video of myself making primal/paleo coconut pancakes. The recipe was taken from The Primal Blueprint Cookbook and is therefore not layed out. :)

    I always feel a bit like a cheater when I ask questions in a post hoping to get more advice than I give. But then, that’s the nice thing about the internet, eh? We can learn from each other. And I definitely learn more than I teach! So please come over and share your time saving tips, as I’m really struggling with that these days.

    Over the Memorial Day weekend, I visited my parents in Pennsylvania, and we had some mighty grill-out experiences. Today I’m sharing a delicious recipe for green beans with coconut milk, slivered almonds, aromatic slices, and a squeeze of lime juice. SO good.

    Chiming in late, but it’s been a little nuts over at my blog, as you’ll see if you check out this week’s contribution. It’s about a group of parents who are fighting the healthy changes made to their school menu. They want the old food back. (Yes, you read that right.) So far there have been more than 120 comments.
