One of you lucky readers won a trip to Colorado with me to attend Monica Corrado’s cooking school!

Thanks to your generosity, we managed to raise $10,435 for the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund.

You guys! I am utterly speechless. When I set the $10K fundraising goal, I thought it was total pie-in-the-sky thinking.

BUT YOU DID IT.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Can you tell I appreciate your generous spirit? You never cease to amaze me.

You are seriously all awesome and deserve a warm hug.

Thank you so much for donating to my favorite non-profit, and for aiding the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund in their ongoing mission to protect the rights of farmers and consumers to enjoy the foods of their choice.

Now, for the winner…

The winner is Alex L (lewin@….). Alex, I have contacted you by email to give you the heads up and begin your enrollment in Monica’s cooking school. Congratulations!

There were 1577 tickets sold and an additional 40 mail-in entries. Each ticket was assigned a number, and the winner was selected by a random number generator (random.org). Alex was the lucky holder of the 732nd ticket counted.

What if you didn’t win?

If you had your heart set on attending Monica’s cooking school to become a Certified Traditional Foods Cook, I’ve got good news.

You can still join us in Colorado in February…or take the four day class in June! Just contact Monica at [email protected]

More information about the intense 4-day cooking school weekend may be found here.

Thank you again, and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
