Colorado Trip Winner & Monica Corrado’s Cooking School

One of you lucky readers won a trip to Colorado with me to attend Monica Corrado’s cooking school!

Thanks to your generosity, we managed to raise $10,435 for the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund.

You guys! I am utterly speechless. When I set the $10K fundraising goal, I thought it was total pie-in-the-sky thinking.

There were 1577 tickets sold and an additional 40 mail-in entries. Each ticket was assigned a number, and the winner was selected by a random number generator (random.org). Alex was the lucky holder of the 732nd ticket counted.

If you had your heart set on attending Monica’s cooking school to become a Certified Traditional Foods Cook, I’ve got good news.
