i’ve been using a distiller for years, but was going to look into something that used less energy and was easier. and then this comes to my inbox! so cool! if i could find a good filter that removed fluoride and could handle water for 7+ people on a daily basis, i’d be preaching it to everyone! cause lots of people are looking for a good filter!

The metal housing of the Berkey is a big plus. I wish it were entirely stainless rather than having some plastic components.

I’m using a very old (1970’s) electric Sears water purifier with charcoal filters. Good, but no Berkey by a long shot. This is my dream come true. One of these days I will own a Berkey, it’s just a matter of time and money.
We have an under the sink model and love it but would love to have the portable one for emergency and travel!
