I love cooking with cast iron. Its great to use both inside in my kitchen and outside camping. I recently started volunteering at Renaissance Faires. Volunteering is great way to get free tickets to events. So much fun and the troupe I’m with often cooks afterwards at campsites but sometimes I can’t eat any of it because I can’t have gluten wheat ect. so I really need new pans so I can cook my own yummy gluten free healthy food. This cast iron cook set would be just perfect so many things. I love that it doubles as a dutch oven. I hope I win.

Hi Kristen,
I am already a subscriber but man! do I want to win the skillet set. Hopefully my entry went through even though I did not subscribe a second time. I loved your article on agave nectar and was wondering if you’ve found anything about coconut sugar. Or if you know where I should look. Who tests sugars? I am curious about why it is low glycemic. I’ve developed a deep and abiding habit and need to know before it’s too late! Thanks for the blog. Great info! c. 😉
Tracy says
I was browsing cast ironware today—wishing….
Randie says
Would love to win. I’ve had this piece on my amazon wish list for a while 🙂
Frank says
I love cooking with cast iron cookware. It’s what helped keep my iron levels acceptable when I was ill. BUT… The new PRE-seasoned cookware is seasoned with gmo-soy oil. I spoke with the company’s rep who did verify this for me. She didn’t think it a problem, obviously. My question now is how to destroy that coating? Do yourself a favor and buy it used and season it yourself.
Kristen says
Frank, you destroy it by cooking with it. Every time you cook in cast iron, you’re re-seasoning it with whatever fats you’re using to cook. So long as you’re cooking with quality fats, you’re set.
Delicia Beaty says
THANK YOU!!! Love your stuff!
MiMi says

It’s beautiful!
