I’ve lived in Texas almost my entire life. I was born in Houston, went to school in Dallas, and now live in the greater Austin area in a lovely little town called Georgetown. But I’ve also lived elsewhere — places where cool, afternoon showers rolled in off the mountains, saturating the earth. I had gardens that didn’t need to be tended. Rose bushes, plum trees, peach trees, and pear trees that were so fertile and abundant I could hardly go two days without pruning of some kind for nine months out of the year. I miss that rain.
Here in central Texas, it hasn’t really rained in weeks. My plants are thirsty. My kids won’t go outside in the 108 degree heat to play — unless, that is, we play in the water. Our garden hose? It’s our new best friend. It waters our flowers, trees, herbs, and veggies. It makes mud puddles and rainbows.
But my city water supply? It’s chock full of chloramines, VOCs, pesticides and herbicides. Do we really want to play in that? Is that really the water I want nourishing my garden?
Thank goodness for garden water hose filters!

I tried ordering this just now and there was no place to enter the coupon code. Also, there’s tax added for $9.99, then a normal shipping rate of $7.95. It ends up being very expensive!
This is very unusual. We would recommend removing everything from your shopping cart and starting over. When you are at the shopping cart and ready to checkout, select the “checkout” button and not the “checkout with PayPal” button. This will allow you to enter the coupon code before going to the payment page. The coupon can still be entered if you checkout with PayPal first but you will not see the coupon added until after your payment information has been submitted. There should not be any tax on your product. Please contact us at [email protected] if you continue to have issues. We have been receiving other orders fine so maybe this was just fluke:)
