Were you a breastfed baby? Not me. I also grew up eating tons of refined sugars and grains. Between a SAD (Standard American Diet) during childhood, chlorinated and fluoridated municipal drinking water, and various rounds of antibiotics, I’m fairly certain that I suffered from gut dysbiosis — the unhealthy balance of good and bad bacteria and yeasts in the gut. Strange as it may sound, creating a healthy balance of gut flora can actually have a HUGE impact on your overall health.
One of the KEY ways we can improve gut health is by incorporating more fermented, living foods into our diets. Last week, I hosted a giveaway for 3 starter cultures from Cultures For Health. Today, I get to announce the lucky winner AND share a coupon with the rest of you!
First, let me announce the WINNER. Congratulations go to Kerrie Knox. Kerrie, please contact me within 48 hours with your mailing address and your choice of 3 starter cultures.
Now, for the COUPON!

The coupon expires March 14th, so hurry!

I loved watching the video about water kefir. I’m confused though about why ‘finished’ water kefir would be sweet. Somehow my brain can’t wrap itself around that concept. Can you help?
