Make Nurturing Bath Salts
Looking for ways to pamper yourself or a loved one? One of my favorite ways to relax is to take a hot bath after the kids are in bed. As much as I love making a bath luxurious with salts or bubbles, I’ve moved away from that in recent years as I’ve grown more and more concerned about bathing in synthetic chemicals.
What if you could bathe in a natural, soothing, herbal bath instead? That’s what the following recipe for Mama’s Passion Bath Salts provides.

When Sugar Is Still Sugar
These days, people’s definitions of “sugar” and “sweets” are strangely warped. My son came bounding up to me with a smile. “Mommy, can I have another box of juice?,” he asked. I looked at the packaged box of 100% apple juice that one of my fellow church goers had brought for the kids. “No, son. That’s full of sugar,” I replied. Another mom nearby interrupted, “No, there’s no sugar in that. It’s 100% juice.”
Pumpkin Cake Bars With Cinnamon Icing
Pumpkin cake bars. They sound so sweet, don’t they? For me, just the name brings to mind visions of holiday family gatherings peppered with sinful desserts full of sugar, refined grains, and unhealthy fats. But you know me, I wouldn’t bring you a recipe like that! These Pumpkin Cake Bars are not only devoid of refined foods, they’re actually grain-free and dairy-free, too.
They’re the perfect alternative to sickly holiday desserts, and you won’t even feel like you’re depriving yourself.
