Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Dip is always a crowd pleaser. Whether I whip it out for holiday get togethers or simply serve it as a family snack on movie nights, everyone devours the entire bowl.
I serve this simple and easy chocolate chip cheesecake dip with sliced apples or homemade graham crackers.
While this treat is surely decadent, it’s also wholesome. That’s because I prioritize using butter from grass-fed cows, organic cream cheese from cows raised on pasture, naturally-sweetened chocolate chips made with soy-free, fair-trade chocolate, and honey from my local beekeeper.
Chocolate Cheesecake Dip
The Players
- 8 oz. Cream cheese, softened (where to find organic cream cheese from pasture-raised cows)
- 1/2 C. Butter, softened (where to find butter from grass-fed cows)
- 1/2 C. Raw honey (where to find organic, raw honey)
- 1 tsp. Vanilla (where to find organic, pure vanilla)
- 1 C. Chocolate Chips (where to find soy-free, naturally-sweetened chocolate chips)
- sprinkle of salt, to taste (where to find real sea salt)
The How-To
In a small mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese and butter until smooth.
Add in honey, vanilla, and salt (to taste). Continue mixing until smooth.
Stir in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Serve Choclate Chip Cheesecake Dip with Homemade Graham Crackers or sliced apples.

Wow. Just wow. To the end of this I would add “or just grab a spoon and go for it” 😉
Me too!
totally insane. i can’t wait to try this. thanks for the inspiration!!!! YUMM
You’re welcome!
Oh my goodness yes! The only bad thing about this recipe is that I have everything on hand right now… and if I make it then I’m going to eat it all :D\
Absolutely delicious!
This sounds good but the chips contain cane juice, which is the same as sugar. I would make my own chocolate and break it into chunks.

Well are you even going to share HOW you make your own sugar free chocolate??
The advantage of cane juice is that it’s GMO-free and not as refined as straight up table sugar. I agree it’s not perfect, but it is better than many other commercial alternatives.
You could alternately add a bit of cocoa powder or raw cacao or cacao nibs and that would get rid of any sugar, right? I might try that myself when I make it 🙂
I came across this after it was posted on Pinterest and I couldn’t get it out of my head. I had to go to the store and make it myself. It is just as delicious as I pictured. It is great on strawberries.
Glad you enjoyed it!
OMG I want it NOW
I make something similar (though without the chocolate chips) when I have an abundance of home made kefir I need to use up! Consider making this recipe with homemade yogurt or kefir cheese and it will also be a probiotic food 🙂 (I make homemade kefir and yogurt. The cheese is simply kefir or yogurt strained to separate the whey. When blended in a food processor the consistency is thick and creamy just like the cream cheese and super yummy. Kefir cheese tends to be more tart than yogurt cheese….)
Perfect for the holidays!
Although mine wasn’t quite as “wholesome” as yours, I tried this for my Halloween party. All my friends LOVED it. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
i make a similar snack with an awesome local ricotta, maple syrup, vanilla extract and chocolate chips. i have to try this one, too! thanks for sharing 😉
I want to try this Krista Nicole McLemore
