Here's a pumpkin-y holiday spin I did on making your own cream cheese from yogurt:

http://www.foodrenegade.com/pumpkin-cream-cheese/

Just follow the first part to make the yogurt cream cheese. Easy. The pumpkin and spices can be saved for a "healthier" holiday treat. Or you could jazz up the cream cheese with other options (we like dill and freshly cracked peppercorns).

SoG -- I've actually been eating those puppies for decades! Seriously good eats. To make the cream cheese a bit more "primal," try making your own from stringing up a plain yogurt and letting the yogurt solids separate from the whey. That way the "cheese" will be chock full of beneficial enzymes and nice & tart. Plus you'll have whey on your hands -- a pretty useful thing you can use to finally try your hand at lacto-fermenting sauerkraut, pickles, salsas, or other veggies.

Carrie -- I *do* usually share recipes. My camera broke about 4 weeks ago and just got fixed yesterday! So, I'll be taking pics and posting recipes again soon.

This looks like a great menu plan esp. as I'm trying to avoid eating "white things" in my diet (grains, potatoes, rices - which pretty much eliminates anything in a can or box). Do you share recipes? Love to learn more about asian meatballs, sweet potato pankakes, and salmon patties. Can't do the raw egg smoothies, don't trust the sources in our area but looks like there's a lot of protein in the plan, already.
