I have been waking up about fifteen minutes before my alarm for the last several months and need to make it stop. The alarm is set for 5:30 AM so I can cook breakfast for my son before he goes off to school, but school is out! I am also married to an insomniac with sleep apnea and there are many nights I sleep for as little as two hours before waking up...fifteen minutes before the alarm goes off. Even Saturdays and Sundays aren't safe! If there's a downside, that would sure be it!

I love chocolate mousse made with avocadoes! Mine is more like pudding, but you can't tell the avocadoes are there at all. Very delish.

What drama up in Washington, eh? I'm glad it ended up working out in favor of real food! I'd like to hear Pollan speak.

Thanks for making me aware of Mark Sisson's blog! I love reading anything that applies to the primal lifestyle! Waking up without an alarm is great, but implementing the consistent sleep schedule to make it happen isn't always easy or practical. I've found that using a sunrise alarm is a great alternative. It certainly beats being rudely awoken by an obnoxious noise!

Interesting story about Washington State University. What a great way to spread awareness, hopefully they won't reverse their decision again. It will be interesting to see if the average GPA for this incoming class ends up being higher than normal. ;)
