You know you want to know! I’ve got a confession to make. I think it’s really sexy when my husband does the dishes. I also get excited when I find someone who’s as passionately devoted to Real Food as I am. I also like to have fun. That’s why I created this quiz.
Maybe This Will Convince Them
Have you ever struggled over how to explain the difference between pasture-raised and cage-free eggs? How about sustainable and conventional agriculture? The world of real food is stuffed full of terms bent on describing how it is we’re moving beyond organic towards something far more intentional and wholesome — terms like aquaponics, food miles, and mobstocking.
Urban Farming Hassles
Urban farming. Depending on who you are and what you love, those two words either fill you with excitement or make you cringe. For those of us in the sustainable food movement, urban farming equals an opportunity to grow and produce food locally — often times right in our own yards or neighborhoods. For those of us who grew up on conventional farms, urban farming means the smell of dung, diesel, and the noise of chickens invading your picturesque urban space.
Balancing the needs of these two segments of the population can challenge even the most forward-thinking “green” cities, as Kansas City has recently discovered.

Hope you enjoy!
Paul Roberts on The End of Food
Did you know that it’s possible to be obese and still be starving? It seems counter intuitive, doesn’t it? Yet that’s what’s been happening for the last hundred years or more, all around the world, particularly when we watch traditional people groups start eating the nutritionally empty foods of industrialization.
Paul Roberts, journalist and published author, foresees a world where we won’t be able to afford nutrient-dense foods — a world where empty calories make us fat and kill us off. He calls it The End of Food, and in the video below he gives a brief overview of his position.
