At first I thought I didn't have any nourishing new years resolutions, but now I'm realizing that I do. My husband and I are excited to:

1. Make and use more bone broths.

2. Continue to buy local, free range meats and eggs and local, organic fruits and veggies.

3. Make homemade versions of more of the things we buy. Crackers and cream cheese are high on the list. We're also starting to consider grinding our own grain.

4. I'm also looking into including more fermented things into our diet, though I don't have a clear plan for that. We're drinking kombucha and I'd like to start lacto-fermenting some veggies. I haven't done that yet.

Good luck on your goals...I'm a garden newbie (well, 3 years in, but it's a major learning curve for me), so I especially wish you luck in that arena. It's so rewarding to cook food that you've sewn and reapt!

Hello,
Thanks for sharing. I am planning on starting a small garden this year too. I look forward to reading more this year about your garden.
