GIVEAWAY: Seagreens Supplements

There are a handful of supplements that I think worthy of taking on a regular basis. I call them superfoods. These are foods that naturally concentrate key nutrients, and native populations around the world have historically sought them out. Sea vegetables are one such superfood. High in concentrated trace minerals essential for human health, various forms of seaweed have long been sought out by many traditional inland peoples because of the ease with which it can be air dried, stored, and transported back inland.

In this day and age when our own soils are being depleted, when study after study is finding that our land fruits and vegetables are growing less and less nutritious (sometimes being completely void of trace minerals that they used to be rich in), we can’t ignore the value of the sea any longer.

That said, it’s hard to find good sea vegetable supplements. Spirulina, Blue Algae, & Kelp are usually harvested in unsustainable ways, or come contaminated with toxic heavy metals like mercury, or are processed and turned into supplements in ways that break down many of the essential nutrients present in the plants.

That’s why I’d like to introduce you to the Seagreens line of products by way of a giveaway. One of my sponsors, Nicole at has graciously offered to give away your choice of one of the following three Seagreens products: Seagreens Food Capsules 60ct, Seagreens Iodine+, or Seagreens Classic Culinary.

All Seagreens products are air dried to preserve nutrients, certified contaminant free, and harvested in sustainable farms. And they feature the ‘wrack’ variety of Brown Algae, arguably the most nutritious seaweeds on the planet.

  1. Genevieve says

I would love to try the Seagreens culinary. My husband refuses to take anything so it would be good to sprinkle it on his food without him knowing and fighting me about it.

  2. Jennifer says

I think the thing from the GAPS website I need the most is probably the book. :) I actually use the FCLO/BO, just ordered some of the Tri-Enza, and the Seagreens would probably be a great addition. Maybe some Bio-Kult too (gotta find some friends to go in with me on that, so we can get the great price on the 10-bottles).

  3. Leah says

I would probably try the seagreens iodine +, but it’s hard to say! I’d also like some FCLO, but I can get that other places but I haven’t seen the seagreens anywhere else before.

  4. Colleen Downey says

I have really been wanting to try FCLO. I hear about how many great benefits there are to taking this and am not very pleased with the current CLO I’m taking now.

  5. Summer says

I would really like to try the Seagreens food capsules. I think that minerals from the ocean are much more abundant than what we can get from the land (unless the soil is extremely fertile). I have a large family, and I feel that they would certainly benefit from daily consumption of this product.

  6. Kim C. says

I visited the GAPSdiet website, and I think I would most like to use the Bio-Kult probiotic. It seems like a great product. Of the Seagreens products, I think I would like to try the Food Capsules.

    Thanks for providing this Giveaway!

  7. Rachel says

I already subscribe via RSS and follow on FB.
Good site–I’ve ordered from there before. I would love a bottle of SeaGreans plus iodine. I’ve been looking for it locally, too! Thanks for the giveaway. :c)

  8. Sarah says

I was looking at the Seagreens the other day. The culinary Seagreens is intriguing, I’d love to try it. Thankfully I’m stocked in the fermented cod liver oil department at the moment.

  9. Suzanne says

I liked you and commented on your FB page and already follow you on Twitter. I would love a bottle of SeaGreens plus Iodine.

  10. says

I already take fermented CLO. Good stuff! If I had the money, I’d add butter oil to that. I’m interested in the Seagreens — I’m sure I need more trace minerals! And of course an Excalibur dehydrator. Those things are awesome!

  11. Mischele says

I actually just ordered the book and Bio-Kult a couple of days ago and am looking forward to trying them in a few days! I already take fermented Cod Liver Oil.

  12. Jill says

I would love to use the Green Pastures Blue Ice mix of fermented cod liver and butter oils. I would also love to try the Seagreens.

  13. lisamarie says

Just ordered some stuff from! We are doing the GAPS diet right now, but had not yet moved up to FCLO. It was time to get that going. I love having all the GAPS stuff in one spot.. saves on shipping, and I can spend all that time I would have been searching reading blogs instead :)

  14. says

While I am a big fan also of the sea veggies the question needs to be asked: Why pay for high priced tablets or capsules when you can buy the inexpensive dried sea veggies and add to food or just eat straight (Dulse is an unusual sea veggie with its slightly sweet taste)?

  15. Cetelia says

I checked out the GAPS site. I would definitely use the Fermented Cod Liver Oil and would love to try the greens product.

I also subscribe by email and am a facebook fan.

  16. Linda says

I visited the GAPS diet website, and would be interested in the Chocolate Cream Butter Oil/Cod Liver Oil, as well as the Seagreen Culinary.

  17. Emily says

I have read the GAPS book – but don’t have my own copy and would love one. I take the fermented cod liver oil + high vitamin butter oil blend … I would love to start getting the Bio-Kult probiotic, seagreens, and keep getting the CLO :) Oh, and an Excalibur dehydrator would be nice – I had no idea she sold those too! Just shared and linked this page on my Facebook wall too (already ‘liked’ and follow you on Fb). I also follow your blog through e-mail feed. Thanks!

  18. jason says

My Norwegian aunts take cod liver oil everyday. They are up there in age. I have to go with the Fermented Cod Liver Oil Arctic Mint.

  19. says

I would love to try the Seagreens food capsules. Especially this time of year when nutrition is so important for warding off disease. I checked out the website. I already use the fermented cod liver oil, but she has a great price on it. I would also like to try the butter oil.

  20. Linda Jean says

Oh, this is great! I visited the website. I have been looking at the Seagreens, the Blue Ice Royal Blends and the Bio -Kult probiotic for my daughter! Love the give-away!
