What a great idea! I'm 2 month into an 8 month healing cleanse, eating all whole foods, and looking forward to a healthy body at the end. :)

Today’s post isn’t so much about one particular dish as it is a reminder to myself of why I choose to eat clean, healthy nourishing food.

Earlier today I ate a cheeseburger & fries with the guys at a local joint. While the food tasted OK at the time, I knew I was in trouble less than an hour later when the industrial CAFO burger & potatoes fried in God-knows-what kind of unnatural hydrogenated oil together felt like a greasy, soggy bowling ball in my gut. Back at work, I resisted the urge to crawl under my desk & sleep it off.

It is readily apparent why America is so sick.

At home this evening, I knew I needed to make up for the nutritionally empty & otherwise damaging lunch, so I gathered up what I could from the garden, pantry and fridge and made this Antidote Dinner Salad..

Bill C-6 is the bill that would over ride our Charter of Rights and enforce MANDATORY H1N1 Flu Vaccinations in Canada!

Representative Ron Paul (R-TX) says it like this: “When we give government the power to make medical decisions for us, we, in essence, accept that the state owns our bodies.”

I posted a Letter that I wrote to the Senate regarding proposed Bill C-6. It has PASSED parliament and 2 readings in the Senate. A third reading in the senate could make it Law.

This Bill is unconstitutional and threatens Human Rights And Freedoms. The media is totally silent about this Bill. I have contacted them and they will not report on it.

I believe that it is deliberately kept quiet until it is passed into law.

I've been sick and in the hospital for 3 weeks - only to be sent home for six weeks NPO! I'm dreaming of amaing fall-themed flavors, smells, and tastes - none of which can be enjoyed by me at this point in time. But I couldn't help but post a GREAT 1890's era recipe for Ginger Cookies that are nothing quite like anything I learned to make in baking school! They're different, but good! Enjoy! (For me, at least! LOL!)
