I'm guessing most people are with the Fam on this after Thanksgiving day Fight Back Friday enjoying more good Real Food leftovers, but I had to share this quick post - I recently learned about the World Food Programme FEED bags which help feed one child in school for one school year for each purchase as part of the United Nations effort to help end world hunger.

And in the spirit of black friday sales and thanksgiving Amazon is offering the bags for 71% off for a limited time. Regardless of the sale this was an inspiring find for me today - it is good to see a program that does so much good. One more thing to be thankful of this holiday.

Hi all. I posted a healthy peanut-sesame-soba noodle salad that is vegetarian friendly and dairy-free. I think it is a great idea to eat before or after the big Thanksgiving feast. Cheers!

Thanks for hosting! This is my first week participating, and I wrote about how to take advantage of a budget friendly food (beans) and maximize its nutritional value by sprouting them.

Wow! I just this week got on the coconut oil train, and I'm loving it. Food tastes even better and the health benefits are really nice, too. Hope you enjoy my post and try coconut oil for yourself if it hasn't made it into your cooking yet.

My post is about our adventures making venison jerky, including a recipe from our farmer. It was pretty easy, actually and we definitely plan to do it again.

Thanks for hosting this. I always learn a lot from all the contributors.
