That’s great! I’ve been having fun playing with stove popped popcorn – also a simple, fun and healthy snack.

Absolutely. I hate that I have a hard time finding quality meat sometimes. Even when I belonged to a (mostly)organic food delivery/coop, not all the poultry/beef/pork was pastured, free range, or organic. Eggs, too.

If the gov’t is really concerned about the quality of meat, it needs to make it mandatory that farm animals be raised in humane, healthful ways that in turn result in healthful protein sources for those who aren’t vegans/vegetarians.

I know I'm preaching to the choir, but a fun story to tell about industrial food and its marketing is at No. 31.

Two Thumbs up!! Ppl often are left with diseases from treating animals this way… viruses, dementia, and sometimes even cancer. And it amazes me how ppl run to get a vaccine, or a pill, but never think of fixing the root of the prob. Vaccines are administered in minutes, but ppl forget it didnt take a minute for this illness to arise. Prevention!!!

Did Swine Flu pop up as nature's way of showing the imbalance and injustice of factory farming? Another big fat reason to eat meat from pastured animals!

Hi Kristen - my article today is about being addicted to healthy shopping (and yes, that it's a good thing) with resources for healthy foods. There is also another new article I've posted today directly following the shopping article about sprouted grains. Happy Friday!

Cooking is not my expertise. So I have a question about the dough. If I didn’t want to do the whole process in one day, could the dough be put in the fridge after it came to a rise to be used later? I LOVE me some pretzels!!!
